The Jordan School District recently announced plans to construct a new elementary school to be located in Daybreak’s Creekside Village. The school will be located near 10200 S. and Kestrel Rise Rd. Construction is due to begin in the spring of 2016, with an anticipated opening in the fall of 2017.
The new elementary school joins Daybreak Elementary, Eastlake Elementary, and the Early Light Academy Charter School, all of which are located within the Daybreak community.
The new school is good news for the residents of Daybreak, enabling more people to live within walking distance of a school, which means less traffic and goes hand in hand with Daybreaks walkable community philosophy.
